A 2.5hr assigned area task was set (areas were west of CHW and east of PIT), with the fallback of the same task for 2hrs....and was then scrubbed . Not long after, a spectacular thunderstorm went through accompanied by some very strong gusts of wind - thanks to everyone who helped hold on to gliders - a few tried their best to take to the air, but none were lost.
